As an amatuer herpetologist I have to chime in on this one.  I know of
some people in the past that have tried to feed puppies and kittens to
there snakes.  The herp community as a whole is against the practice
because it is brings bad PR to a pet community that already gets bad
press from the Humane Society US, PETA, etc, etc.  In some areas it is
illegal.  I know of one person that had a cat that's litter included
three still born kittens so he thought he's feed them to his python,
problem is that reptiles hunt and feed based on scent as well as heat
and movement.  The snakes did not recognize the kittens as food.  I
have collected herps in the field that will not eat mice or rats so I
am forced to collect California Voles for their consumption, while
others will only accept Western Fence Lizards.
 
As for the person that stated Arnold running is a bad idea, I'm assuming
that was a partisan jab.  Arnold only plays a robot in the Movies while
Grey Davis is an actual Robot.  (Ever heard him talk?) The sooner Doofus
is out of here the better for a hundred reasons.  I'm not an Issa fan and
I don't think Simon will sign a ferret bill as he is buddies with ferret
hater Rudy Guilliani, I could be wrong and his official response in the
past was baring any scientific information that proves they are a threat
(which DFG dishonestly say's exsist) he would be for legalization.  He
needs the monewy from groups like the California Water Fowl Association
so he'll be their boy.  I think Arnold is the best bet for an independent
Jessie Ventura type Govenor we have.  The Democratic Party is noting more
than a bunch of socialist facist, while the Republican party can't seem
to unify to put up a canidate worth a crap (Wilson was a horrible govenor
as well).
 
We need this revolt, this revolution to send a message to the dumb butts
in Sacramento.  Then we need to go after the corrupt state agencies such
as DFG, even aside from ferrets the Department is a joke.
 
Go Arnold, terminate Grey Doofus' govenorship.
 
I'd love to know what Green Party Canidate Camejo position is on ferret
legalization being a socialist/environmentalist.  We need a big shakeup
in California and if Camejo was pro ferret I would leave my libertarian
credentials at the door and vote Green party just to tweak the Dems and
Repubs.
