For some time now, ferret owners have been "apologizing" for owning a MF
ferret or other farm ferret.  WHY?  MF ferrets are just as loving and
lovable as breeder ferrets, and frankly, I'm not convinced farm ferrets have
more illnesses or cancer problems than breeder ferrets.
 
MF ferrets have great dispositions and make excellent pets.  Like humans,
they can't control where they are born......should a MF ferret be doomed
to spend its life in a fish bowl in a pet store just because of its origin?
 
Please don't condemn these sweet little creatures without justification -
and originating from MF or PV is just not a good enough reason - IMO - to
not adopt.  After all, where do you think shelter ferrets come from?
