I'm trying to find a shelter to temporarily house 15 ferrets.  A friend
of mine, who is an avid lover of ferrets, was working for a doctor at his
home where he had what you might call a "mini farm" with all sorts of small
animals. Since he and his wife are in the process of divorcing, she,(Chris)
is out of a job and also her ferrets are out of a home. She doesn't want to
give them all up for adoption, but she needs to just find shelter until she
can find something permanent.  She will buy the food, etc. and even
volunteer to help at the shelter.  Her name is Christine Derby and she
lives in Swansea, Ma..  If you could possible E-Mail me back and hopefully
help her or point her in the right direction, it would be very much
appreciated.  She truly loves her ferrets, but can not keep them where she
is living since she lives with her sister and brother-in-law who do not
like animals at all.
