I was watching my six ferrets all curled up on top of each other in their
hammock and I wondered who first had the brilliant idea to give a ferret a
hammock?  How long has the hammock been in use as a ferret accessory?
 
My six will often curl up in the hammock in preference to their sleeping box
with all the bedding - even in the middle of winter when it would be much
warmer in their box.
