Please be careful when attempting to cross into California. Don't take the
attitude that no harm will come to your 'Little Ones'. I, too, have now
crossed twice into California. The first time I was on vacation in Canada
and my Dad died. We headed for my Mom,s place as soon as I heard. I thought
that since I was not a resident and had no plans to stay more than a couple
of days I would be allowed into California. Not so.....I was given the
option of having the ferrets confiscated or leave California immediately. I
left and was able to sneak in around the station to visit with my Mom.

If you plan to cross just be sure your 'Little Ones' are hidden and in a
secure place. Asleep under a blanket is not really good enough. What happens
when it hears the voices and wants to check out what is going on? Also, a
visible cage will illicit questions.

Good luck, and maybe one day we can enjoy California with our ferrets. My
green ribbon flies in Seattle :-)

When one finds himself in a hole of his own making, it is a good time to
examine the quality of workmanship.
