Hello to all,

Our sweet little Daisy lost her fight with Insulinoma and Lymphoma last
Thursday, July 3rd. She was an "only" ferret since the death of her good
buddy, Meep, a year and a half ago. She was our sweet stinker! She
loved to nibble on stocking feet and puppy-dog feet (poor Shelley!)and
was a champion potato thief. Many time I would see her carrying a potato
that must have weighed at least half what she did. She almost always
carried them "up", and looked like the images of women with jugs on their
heads. I would find petrified potatoes in many unusual locations! But
best of all she gave wonderful, ferrety kisses. Her favorites game were
to ride the blankie (or towel) as we pulled it around the room and to be
rolled up and tumbled out of a towel. She loved wool - wool sweaters,
wool blankets... and would lay down and rub all over the surface in
complete ecstasy. We buried her up on the side of the mountain next to
her buddy Meep. We will miss her tremendously!

Karla
