force feeding (Tia & Gretchen)

The feeding I did with Timmy consisted of putting a syringe of the soup
or Deliver 2.0 that Dr. Susan Brown prescribed when he was really ill &
skinny (from any pharmacy, non Rx), up to his mouth & he would lick it from
the tip (no needle of course!), of the 25 or 35 cc syringe. I never
"forced" food or liquid into his mouth as I would fear it going down his
windpipe even more than make him hate me. Instead I'd add some clover honey
to his food or whatever & he'd easily take it that way. The deliver 2.0 did
not need anything added, they like it as it is.

Even now when he is getting the recipe in the evening, I have to give it
to him in a seperate small cup as he doesn't eat it if the others are out.
Often I have to dip my finger into it & let him lick off my finger a few
times, then he will eat up usually a good 3 oz. I still feel him shake like
from fear over half of the times. I don't mind holding him though, I talk
to him while he's eating, and thank all the forces that have helped him stay
alive from when he was out on a 6 lane freeway but not hit, and recovering
from the lymphoma. He's my miracle child in more than one way.

Hope this helps, Tke care, Gary
