I believe ferrets cannot survive in the wild, and that they are purely
domesticated animals. However, I would like to know why and how there is
such a thing as ferret hunting. I recently read a book about sighthounds,
and it stated that some breeds are useful in ferret hunting. Are there some
wild ferrets (besides the BBF)? I am just curious about this topic. I own
several ferrets that I love dearly. I do not mean to upset anyone by this
question.
