After a really rough stretch, I was feeling sorry for myself. Then I
started reading Nell's posts. Not only are they a window on a world
I may never know, they reminded me how truly blessed I have been. No
matter how hard it has been- losing my mother (in-law), losing multiple
ferrets- I have never gone through any of it alone. I have been
homeless, but not for long, and I was never hungry. I was never scared.

Nell, you are a fascinating person; you've got guts! And if you are
ever in Vegas, you have a place to stay.
