Dooks to all on the FML.
To those who have sick or ailing fuzzies, I pray that our Heavenly Father
will reach down with His Healing Hands, and allow them to be back to their
mischevious little bundles of joy.

To those who have lost the physical presence of their beloved ferrets, I
send my deepest condolances. I also pray that our Heavenly Father will
give you peace in your hearts and minds, knowing that you gave these
wonderful bundles of happiness and joy, a life of love and contentment,
for as long as you have had them.

It is with a sad heart that I let you know that Lucky, a Hob of 9-10 years
of age, and one of the first of 17 we rescued from the west side of
Michigan, has departed to the Rainbow Bridge. He left on Friday, May 18,
2001. Sandy, please make sure that he gets with Cloud Dancer, Peanut
Butter, Murphy, Aladin, and Scruffy, and all of the rest of the crew who
are at the bridge. When Lucky first came to us, he was an extreme biter.
The previous owners consisted of a male person who was afraid of Lucky,
because every time Lucky got out of his cage (in a shed without
ventilation, but did have a woodburning stove), he would go toward the
owner, and the owner would "KICK" him and then throw him back into his cage
(made for breeding only). Through tender care by my daughter and son and
myself, Lucky became better, but he still was afraid of hooman-beans (I
can't imagine why [please note the sarcasm]). One day, after a gentle
bath, our daughter tried to clean Luck's ears. But because of scar tissue
caused by severe ear-mites, Lucky bit my daughter seven times on the right
hand ring finger, in seven different places. That poor little boy was
really hurting (so was my daughter's finger). By the time Kathy Gallagher
in Ohio came to assist us by taking the Detroit 7 and Lucky, Lucky had
mellowed to an occasional biting. Kathy, thank you for all you did for
Lucky and thank you for helping to make his last 2 years with you and five
years with us, a time of love for a severely abused little boy.

God's Blessings to one and all, and may the Peace of God which passes all
human understanding, bring peace and joy to everyone. And Lucky, I love
you and I will see you again at the rainbow bridge.

Rev.Ronald L. Sims, D.D. & Family: 8 hooman-beans owned by 9 fuzzy balls of
joy, 5 canines, 2-1/2 felines (1/2 feline= 1 kitten), 6 fish, and a pear
tree without the partridge
