If you lay your Christmas tree on the floor before putting it up, your
ferrets will enjoy crawling through it for a little while.  Have your
camera handy.
 
We install our tree outside on the lanai since we have roll down shutters
to shelter it at night.  This enables us to have a controlled watch over
ferret activity around it.  The worst thing they seem to do is drink the
water from the tree container.
