Hi all!

Just writing today to say hello to everyone, and to see whether anyone else
has the same problem I have whenever I wear a skirt to work. Actually, I
was late to work this morning, mainly due to the fact that whenever I
turned, Abercrombie and Fitch were leaping up and grabbing onto my skirt
and going for rides. My skirt goes almost to my ankles, and so was
understandably a great place for Fitch and Abie to hide from each other,
and in the meantime nibble on my toes. I can imagine what it looked like,
though--swirling skirt fabric punctuated by leaping and bounding ferrets.
So--what kind of excuse do I give for being late?

Also--about the bagpipe/concertina effect on ferrets:

I know that although squeaky toys can't be compared musically to the above
instruments, I can tell you that Fitch and Abercrombie show the same
response. The squeaky toys (actually, Baby Dino-Roarrs from the toy store)
make a high pitched long sound, and Fitch usually responds first by pawing
at it, then at my hand making it squeak. He alternates between licking my
hand and pawing it, and has a very wild look in his eyes. Actually, making
the toys squeak is the best way to get both Abercrombie and Fitch to come
running to you, and is great entertainment when guests ask you "Where are
your ferrets?" :)

:) Marcy
