Dear friends

It is again with a heavy heart that I ask the bridge greeter to watch for
a pretty little old lady named Polly. Polly had not been with us long,
but the pain of losing her sweet, little kissy self is just as sharp.
She came to us about a week ago from a woman that didn't even bother to
name her. Our vet believes she had a heart condition, and possibly threw
a clot from that. It doesn't matter I guess she is gone. Polly was a
sweet little ferret with a tiny face. She loved to give kisses and to be
held in her mommas lap. She had some hip problems and would walk but not
much. The woman that had her smoked and when little Polly came here she
was covered in nicotine and I don't believe she ever had her little ears
cleaned or enough to eat. I am happy that she came here for a little
while to know that she was loved and wanted. I hope that she meets with
the other shelter babies that have passed over the bridge so she won't be
alone.

On another note, Rosie will be going in on the 25th for adrenal surgery
please keep her in your thoughts.

Hermann who had a spleenectomy a month agoi is doing much better. He has
gained a little weight and able to go back in the house he shared with
his buddies Ricci and Dodger.

Sincerely Kim and the gang from Coffee Creek
