We've had success with mixing our ferrets' medications with Nutri-Cal.  The
taste of Nutri-Cal seems to be delicious enough (from a ferret's point of
view!) to hide the taste of the medicine.  With Jerry, our kidney failure
patient, we mix her medicines right in with her liquid baby food/Sustacal
blend.  For pills, we use a little mortar and pestle to crush them so they
can easily be mixed in, too.
