Ferretone is perfectly safe for insulinomic ferrets-there is no sugar
in it at all.

(I had to contradict one of the speakers at a vet conference I went to
this summer-she told our group that it was bad for insulinomics because
of the sugar in it-I know there is no sugar in it-researched that for my
own ferrets years before and confirmed it with several ferret vets and
experts, and I had a bottle with me at the conference so they could see
the ingredients list!)

It was a valuable tool for me for my insulinomics on pred-washed the
unpleasant taste from their mouths afterwards and made it a more positive
experience for them (I had one who had actually gouged the roof of his
mouth before I started following his meds w/Ferretone).

Dooks,
April AC
