>Anyone else having a lovely invasion of Carpenter ants due to wood
>pellets?

Are Carpenter ants big black ones? I've noticed a few in my ferret room,
and I use Feline Pine litter. I've seen a few throughout the house now
and then, though, so maybe they're a different kind and not related to
the wood pellets. I sure would hate to have to switch litter- I love the
Feline Pine better than any kind I've ever tried, including Yesterday's
News. Any advice on how to otherwise get rid of or repel the ants?

While we're on the subject of litter, are the wood stove pellets I hear so
much about here basically the same size and shape as Feline Pine? Do they
have comparable odor-control properties? I'd love to not have to pay so
much for litter, but wouldn't want to switch unless the stove chow was just
as good as the Feline Pine.

Thanks!
