Tonight was a very sad night. Tonight we lost Ra, of Rusty & Ra.
http://www.ferretaid.org/rustyra.html )

Ra went in his sleep. Mom was VERY upset and feels lie she just lost her
best friend. Mom was lucky enough to be surrounded by her friends and
mine. Aunties Amy, Jo, Aggie & Jen were there as well as Uncle Jeff. Mom
was so lucky to have them with her when Auntie Olympia found Ra. Auntie
Olympia was the 1st to see Ra and she was very upset.

All of us had a good cry together and mom is still crying for the loss of
Ra. She is mostly worried about Rusty and hopes this doesn't effect his
recovery after loosing his leg.

Auntie Linda sent Ra a special gift for christmas. Mom cried hard when she
realized he would never get to see it. She held Ra's tiny body and opened
the gift for him. Inside was a beautiful hand made sleep sack, toys and
treats. All of which he will be cremated with.

Dr. Parker was great too. Auntie Jo called her (mom was crying too hard)
and Dr. Parker asked to speak to mom. She was very helpful and told mom to
bring Ra in tomorrow morning for an autopsy. That will make mom feel much
better. The nice thing is that it's Dr. P's day off tomorrow and she is
still coming in to see Ra.

Please keep Ra in your thoughts and prayers tonight, so that he may find
his way across the rainbow Bridge to be with Akasha, Oso, Isis, Flagstone,
Bandit Jennie, Paco and all the other ferrets who have crossed over. Mom
is missing Ra very much and so is Rusty.

Love you lots,
Harley
