You know you are a ferret owner when......
# you put the smaller gifts *in* the tree instead of under the tree so the
  babies can't carry them off and hide them.
 
# you put up an artificial tree (so the sap doesn't stick to their fur)
  but leave it undecorated for a week so the ferrets get used to jumping
  into it and climbing it first.
 
# you decorate your tree with small stuffed animals, wooden ornaments and
  bows instead of breakables.
 
# instead of buying each other jewelry for your anniversary, you adopt two
  more ferrets.
