Tara, I didn't know they made a pad just for ferrets. I use them with
my oldsters and when I travel. They are an addition to the litter box
and help absorb urine rather than letting it get all over everything
by pooling and rolling. I put them on top of the paper and under the
litter box. It makes for a lot easier cleanup and has an added bonus.
For the oldsters, they are able to get traction on the pad and don't
slide down into their potty.

Since I have spoiled children who only use the litter box until it has
been mildly soiled (once in each spot) and then start in front of the
box, these are great. Beware of the edges, though. If a ferret decides
to go on the edge and not the pad, all bets are off!
