the experience i have had regarding tail wagging seems pleasureable for
the ferret involved.  Bartok "waggs" his tail (looking somewhat circular
and rotating)  when adventuring through his slinky.  many of the listers
call their little ones slinkies, but have you ever tried giving them one
to play with.  my tikes have a simple metal slinky which my roomate and
i stretch accross the room.  the little ones repeatedly crawl through
it, back and forth and again, wagging all the while.  they push and
shove to be the one who gets to slink through it next.  cute... very
cute.
 
i am still thinking about getting  fourth ferret... adopting one rather.
