What:  AFA Holiday Expo 2000

The AFA is pleased to announce that the Holiday Ferret Expo 2000 is going
to be a grand event.  Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend with or
without your ferrets.* Enjoy a day of fun competition.  Visit ferret
vendors, clubs and shelters from across the country who will be selling
items especially designed for ferrets and their owners.  Ferret rescues
will have ferrets for adoption, and ferret breeders will have kits for
sale.
 
Including specialty classes, we have over 500 entries!  While the
Adolescent Championship ring has closed at 100 entries and most specialty
rings are filled, a few spots are still open in select rings, including
the Companion Class.  If you are interested in applying for a late entry,

*Please note: Only pre-registered entries are allowed for championship and
specialty judging.  All ferrets who enter the show hall must be vaccinated
with USDA approved ferret vaccines for canine distemper and rabies.  At
this time those vaccines are FERVAC-D and IMRAB-3 respectively.  Ferrets
and records will be checked at the door by local ferret vets.
