GCFA fun matches are a riot.  My niece and I have already started sewing
the costume for one of the fun matches.  No One touches your ferret but you
at these matches.  The tubes used for racing are given to you and not used
again.  The paper bag escape involves a bag that is disposed of afterwards.
Hold your own ferret for the yawning contest.  And there is a talent
contest.  Anyone been teaching their ferrets with a clicker and treat?
 
Parking is free.  Members enter free.  Spectators pay $5. at door,
children pay $2.  Under 6 years old --Free!
 
There are numerous vendors, the three ring judging with some of the most
beautiful, healthy kits, alters, specialty classes, etc.,,the fun matches,
ferret people to meet, and ferret gifts to purchase that you would have
difficulty locating elsewhere.
 
Make it a long weekend.  Check out the area.  Lots to do: Morton Arboretum
is stunning.  Fall is a wonderful time for hiking.
 
- all critters must be current with canine distemper shots
 - you MUST supply proof of vaccination at least 30 days prior to show date
