Salt Lake City is not a FFZ.  Unincorporated Salt Lake County is.  The rest
of the state is.  The county is not super anti ferret either, they just have
never gotten around to coming up with the licensing rules they would be
happy with.  They pretty much just ignore ferrets now.  The airport is not
in the unincorporated county.
 
If Delta is the best airline to fly ferrets on, don't skip coming through SLC
just because the county is a FFZ.
 
We have 6 cats and 4 ferrets.  The cats who don't like ferrets just stay
high when they are out.  Other cats have great time playing with the
ferrets.  They all like watching them.  We have never had a problem with
cats and ferrets.
