Dear FMLers,

I know many of you have very generous hearts, and have already donated
to help those poor people in Haiti, so devastated by the earthquake.
Millions upon millions of people around the world - and governments,
and charitable organizations - re mobilizing to do just that. It's a
tremendous race against time, and not everyone is going to get the help
they need.

I also know that as animal lovers, you're wondering how in the world
will the animals have any chance at getting help when the human need
is so great? They have no voice, and their suffering is as great, or
greater, than that of the people. Which is just indescribable!

Here is one way to help - support the Animal Relief Coalition for
Haiti (ARCH), an international group of professional animal welfare
organizations working together to help the animals affected by this
tragedy.

You can donate to the Haiti Animal Relief Fund now to help the animals
in Haiti receive the care they need.

ARCH is spearheaded by the International Fund for Animal Welfare and
the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA). Many other
animal rescue organizations, including the ASPCA, American Humane and
United Animal Nations/Emergency Animal Rescue Service, have joined in
support of this effort.

Through ARCH, relief teams will work out of a mobile clinic donated by
the Antigua and Barbuda Humane Society. The clinic will be shipped to
a WSPA member society, Sociedad Dominicana Para la Proteccion de
Animales, in the Dominican Republic and driven across the border into
Haiti . Once in Haiti , the team will administer emergency care to the
animals and help animals belonging to people displaced by the disaster.

You can visit one of these websites to donate online:
