Hello Bob and Scooter,
 
I had a ferret many years ago that loved to lick my tub and I let her.  It
never did her any harm!  I think it's just the curious nature of the ferret.
One of my two ferrets now loves to wait (and sleep) in my towel I lay next
to the tub when I shower.  When I get out she HAS to lick at least one foot.
I dry off mostly before stepping out but I always leave one foot wet just
for her to clean!  It's a ritual and I feel very loved for it!  :-)
