I am very puzzled as to my male ferrets recent behavior. He is really
good about using the litter box, I clean his cage and everything in it
every day, but now he is suddenly peeing and sometimes pooping outside
the box, this behavior started about 3 weeks ago. I noticed he would
move the liter box around, so I decided to place it where he moved it,
yet he still pees outside the box. He seems to be in good health he
does drink a lot of water, though. Is it possible that because I now
use newspaper as his litter for the litter box, this has offended him?
Can I use scoopable cat liter if I have too as I cannot afford to buy
the yesterday's newspaper liter from pet co. Any suggestions or help
with this is greatly appreciated
