My Bumper had this when I got him, too.  The only reason I noticed it was
because he yawns when I stroke his jaw.  I saw the original post saying not
to worry about it and decided I'd keep an eye on it.  At some point later I
looked again and it was gone.  He never acted as if anything was wrong.  I
know Bumper's didn't get any bigger.  Maybe you should have a vet look at
it.
