For those of you that haven't heard about GET FUZZY, it's a super cute
comic on the internet (and in some papers) written by Darby Conley. In
the strip, Rob owns a dog named Satchel and a cat named Bucky. Bucky
doesn't get along with the ferret, Fungo Squiggly, that lives down the
hall in their apartment building and is ticked off that Satchel has a
'ferret flap' to his bedroom for Fungo to come and go and play with
Satchel. Bucky rigged up a snare to catch Fungo and Fungo turned it on
Bucky (like any self respecting ferret should!) and broke off Bucky's one
fang. If you are interested, the link to the latest strip is at the end
of this email. Just hit the 'previous day' button to go back and read
more. There are also a couple of GET FUZZY books that you can buy if you
really like it. I liked the strip, went back and bought the first book
and thought it was great and have since read the strip daily and have the
other book on order.

The only thing I don't like about the ferret is that the creator of the
strip draws the ferret as a quiet, straight faced little mobster looking
guy. He's got his ferrets down, but isn't conveying the proper
'personality' traits. (At least in my "so worth while" opinion) :-)
Oh well, I still love it and I think you guys will too.

Hugs and kisses from the ferret o' nine tails...

April

[Moderator's note: The image of the ferret seldom appears. Robert
Lipinski was kind enough to send me a copy of a strip that ran several
months ago which had the ferret pictured. BIG]
