Gov. Benson has signed SB 399 into law effective 1/1/05.  They didn't
post it until late yesterday but he apparently signed it 5/17.
 
Thanks all for your attempts at urging a veto - it seems our NH govenor
is not a shelter friendly politician.
 
I wonder indeed how animal friendly he is!
 
Now is the time for concerned folks to write letters to the editors of
local papers so that our populous knows the extent of the NEW upcoming
law-- and perhaps how unfairly it taxes the already blighted animal
welfare community.
