I have been reading this thread with interest. Have had many pets from
Donkey to ferret euthanized by different vets over the years, NON with
a heart stick.

One thing I would like to see posted here by a vet, or a knowledgeable
vet tech is how the different methods actually work to cause the end of
life for the animal.

IV solution, what is it, what does it do actually.

Injection into the abdomen, same question.

Heart stick, same questions.

If doing a necropsy, is any one method not advisable?
