Pam,
Just a suggestion. Youmay not want to reward the bite with play. Instead,
let her know that a bite is not acceptable, then later when she's settled
down, offer to play. It's similar to a situation we often run into in our
shelter where the ferret has learned that if it bites it gets set down. Very
difficult to break once they learn it. They love to communicate and once
they learn a "word" it's like trying to get a 4 year old child to quit using
certain 4 letter words that may be cute when first uttered, but quickly
becomes an embarrasment.
