I posted a month or so ago, asking the ferret community to pitch in and
help out Denise's Delightful Dookers Ferret Rescue in Auburn, WA. And,
just as I thought, lots of 'ferret folks' came through! We received
much needed cash donations, supplies, gift cards and payments on our
vet bill from folks like Andrea, Michael, Cherie, Lisa F., Pam T.,
Laurie S., Dave L., Dar, Carol S, and Brittany. (I sure hope I haven't
missed any one!)

We still have the daily costs of running the rescue and outstanding vet
bills to deal with, but every bit that was contributed helps. Thank You
All!

I also want to add a big Dook! to Washington Ferret Rescue - now that
they are all moved and up & running, they really stepped up to lend a
paw. They helped with the very important distemper vacs and took some
of our more recent surrenders - giving us a little breathing room. We
really appreciate and enjoy the growing relationship we have with them!
