Both stomach ulcers and kidney failure can lead to teeth grinding.
(Insulinoma can also lead to teeth grinding.) Carafate and amoxi are
good to use to try to control stomach ulcers.  Biaxin may be need also.
For the kidney failure, are you giving SQ fluids?  This may be need to
decrease the BUN and stop the teeth grinding if it is from the kidney
failure.  Rechecking the BUN would help to clarify what is causing the
teeth grinding.
