We just brought home two new ferrets, Mulder and Scully, and we have a few
questions. I apologize if these questions have been asked and anwered
before -

1) We have two males, approx 4-1/2 months old and neutered. They seem to do
alot of fighting. The bouts appear nasty, however neither seems to be hurt.
When the fighting stops they explore their cage, share a drink, eat together
and cuddle up in their hammock to sleep. Is this normal play?

2) The litter box is just another thing to be thrown around the cage. They
do everything but poop in it. Any tips on litter box training?

3) What should line the bottom of the cage? Are cedar shavings all right?
If not, what should we use?

4) Aside from their food are there any other snacks that are OK?

Thanks in advance for your help!
