Just thought I'd let everyone know how much I appreciate your prompt replies
to my question. It seems that everyone is of about the same opinion...that
it is possible that part was missed and is again responsible for the scent.

My plan for now if to have a 3rd ferret vet take a look at him and give his
opinion on the surgery's success/failure so I can have documentation to
approach the very unhelpful initial vet. Rikkitikkitavi now seems to have
an ucler/raw spot on his anus from trying to rub the feces off when he uses
the litter box. I need to have this checked out as well. Poor guy..first a
huge infection from the surgery, then he was unable to deficate because of
inflamation/constriction and now he has a permanent sore. I don't know what
makes me madder..the fact that I had the surgery done at all...or that I
chose the vet that I did to do it.

Well here's hoping for a good outcome,

Thanks again,

Kat L.
