Kevin,

Don't give Casper up. I cannot think of one reason these folks
should get Casper back. They could've done what you did to remedy the
odor they couldn't deal with. They obviously were not attached enough
to Casper to try hard enough to find the solution that you found.

Keep Casper and let these folks ponder whether they really want to
attempt to raise a ferret. You've done all of the difficult work
which has no monetary reward. I've thought of starting a service of
getting kits past the nipping and litter training, but I know I'd
become attached to each and every ferret I'd come across.

If these folks really, really, really want a ferret, they'll muster
up enough energy to ponder all that they've avoided, thanks to you,
and have to decide if they're ready for a true commitment.

Personally, I wonder how long Casper would last with these folks
before they're back at your door asking you to take him back for some
other reason; "He wriggles too much when we try to bath him!" or "He
spills food all over the cage and digs litter out of the litter box!"

Finders keepers, losers weepers! Waah, Waah, Waah, Waah!
Possession's nine-tenths of the law! (never quite understood that)

                                   Regards,
                                     Al
