My first ferret Snoop used to choke on her food, she would eat it so fast.
I would hold her laying straight up my arm, and thump her on the back.
The piece of food would come out and she'd start to chew it. (Gross!!)
I always called the vet and they said that if she was
eating/sleeping/playing/breathing/going potty normally then she was fine
(this was 12 years ago, and she lived to be 8 1/2 yrs old). I've been
lucky with Oscar and Miko. Neither of them has ever choked on anything.
