Providing a dark secure area for your ferret can reduce stress. A
sleeping den is almost always taken advantage of by a ferret. A simple
cardboard box can suffice, but if you want something special, take a
look at this deluxe, hand-made wooden slumber den embellished with the
artistic talent of Vicki and Steve Phemister. What they have created is
too cute to believe! Maybe they were inspired by the movie Finding Nemo.
The lid of the den is adorned with a smug ferret floating on an innertube
above an underwater fantasy world depicted on the sides of the den.
Coral, sea anemones, clown fish, a ray, and a puffer fish are just some
of the creatures living beneath the floating ferret. You can view the
den at http://www.cascade-ferret.org/fad/box.html.

This amazing slumber den goes to the highest bidder Sunday, June 27th at
Cascade Ferret Network's 3rd Annual Ferret Awareness Day. If you are
interested in participating in the bidding, please let me know so we can
arrange it.
