In case anyone would like to figure out how much p[rotein is in canned/tinned
food compared with dry food for cats/kittens/ferrets, here is the formula:

dry protein % = [(canned protein % )*(100-dry moisture content)]/(100-canned
water content)

in actual figures (an example):
Canned food is 10% protein, with 78% water (Iams canned turkey formula)
most dry foods are processed to contain 10% moisture.

[(10)*(100-10)]/(100-78) = (10*90)/22 = 40.9% protein.

You still need to look at the ingredients and make sure that poultry/meat is
the major solid ingredient, and avoid corn, fish and fillers.
