Just a comment that, as nice and noisy bell collars can be, my ferret
zooey lost hers in the couch right before she took off outside and was
lost for 3 days.  She was very good at losing that thing.

by the way, we did get her back.  Through a bizarre set of random
meetings and such, Zooey was returned to us.  Sans collar, but a
little more content to stay closer to home.
