Please don't use poison to kill mice.  If your ferret eats a mouse that
has been poisoned, particulary with the anticoagulant, the ferret will be
poisoned as well.  Mice may carry the poison into their hiding places and
if a piece is dropped along the way and your ferret eats it, your ferret
will be poisoned.
 
Some pest poisons may not kill a dog or cat, but they may kill a ferret.
Quite a bit of weight difference.
