Katie didn't know how long she'd been walking, but she wasn't tired
and felt great. She looked down and saw she was on a rainbow path. The
colors were vibrant, and pulsing. She looked up and saw a misty veil
ahead. On the other side she could see ferrets of all colors, sables,
chocolates, silvers, albinos and cinnamon's too. It seemed like they
were having lots of fun, and she thought she could hear dooking. She
hurried to get there, so she could join the games. When Katie came to
the veil between worlds, it seemed to thin and become clear. There was
a gang of 9 ferrets looking at her from the other side. One, a dark
sable girl, said hurry up, Popov doesn't want to miss dinner. Katie
thought, yeah, that figures. She recognized a few of the gang, and
realized it was the rainbow crew. As she passed through the veil and
along the rainbow path, she knew she would be safe and happy forever.
