To Rita,

After 6 years of reaction-free distemper vaccinations, I would be
inclined to go back to the "wrong" vaccine.

Here in Perth, Western Australia, thousands of ferrets over the last 9
years have been receiving dog vaccine with not one reaction. In fact a
distemper-only vaccine is not available in this country, so the ferrets
also get immunised against hepatitis and parvo. No reactions, no
distemper....ever.

I would be very interested to know if there were any reactions to
distemper vaccines before the ferret-specific vaccines were available.
Anyone?

Love & Dooks
Shirley
