Bob C's intelligence and enrichment series has been very interesting to
read. However, it has occurred to me while reading them that in this
house the humans' intelligence is always being tested by little games
set up by the furry ones. Such as the Treat March game in front of the
cupboard that houses them. One furry one will indicate that they are in
need of a treat and just as you retrieve either a raisen or Cherrio for
the begging ferret, out pops a few more furry bodies. So of course they
get a treat too. A few minutes later, a different furry one will do the
treat pacing in front of the cupboard and of course 3 or 4 more furry
bodies will appear from nowhere to join in -- until I'm so confused I
don't know who's already had raisens, Cherrios, both or seconds or thirds
of each! And when I ask, haven't you already been in the treat line, the
look of innocence I get should win an Academy Award. Who's being tested
here???
