I have been reading the posts on allegeries, but I havent found any
suggestions that I have not already tried. I have had my babies for
almost a year now (my DEW will be one year old on Wednesday!) and have
only recently devoloped an allegy. I relocated their cage to the hallway,
which helps immensly (no more waking in the middle of the night due to
suffocation) but when I play with them I still react. I have been
tollerating it, but unfortunatly, the amount of time I play with them is
becoming less and less as I react more and more. I purchased a HEPA filter
and changed their shampoo (at first I was only allergic to the shampoo,
not the ferrets) and I change their bedding once a week. I know someone
mentioned allergy shots, but that isn't an option for me due to a strange
reaction I have to serums. I am coming to a loss about what else I can do.
I DON'T want to give my fuzzies away- sometimes they are the one thing that
makes me smile after a long day. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
I feel horrible that they aren't getting the attention from me that they
used to (although my sisters are now making up for it). Like I said, I'll
try anything at this point- Voodoo, hyposis, standing on my head and
reciting FLO handbook regulations.... anything!

Thank you
liz
Nicky "I don't care if you play with me... I like this nifty clear =
tunnel you just got!"
Daisy "Yeah, well I want to play in the tunnel too!"
