Dear Sandi,

It was a nice chilly morning here at heaven, when I heard a small
rapping upon my door. I had just finished a nice cup of red spice tea,
and was gearing up to go out for a walk, and I thought it might be nice
to have some company, because most certainly, whomever was at the door
would not mind a nice walk with me.

It was Athena of course, and with a request not only from you, but for
you. "Her name is Prizzy, and mom feels she will come here and there
will be no one to greet her."

I assured her that no one ever arrived her alone, nor did they leave
alone. That love was always there, and love would be Prizzy's comfort,
guide and protector no matter where she was at.

So the two of us set out to gather quite a few familiar faces for whom
Prizzy may not have known in her earthly days, but would recognize by
the love they had received from you. Athena and I found Zues, Merlin,
Spanky Rose and Louie Ville Slugger in the Comfy Place. All had been in
one large AND very inviting sleeping pile when we came upon them - and
I would have loved to have joined them, but we had others to find and
Prizzy to greet. We found Roise, Rascal, Madaline, Noodles and Gizmo at
the kit field watching all of those adorable fuzzit kids learning how
to use their wings, and then we went and gathered the rest of the gang
- Ms Nancy, Bucky (still a ladies man I assure you!) Mojo, Ophelia, Lil
Bit, Dino and of course Duke.

So many wonderful fuzzits (and dog) and faces I remember very well,
because some of them have been greeted by my very self. It was Athena
who started us towards the Bridge, she seemed in great haste to get
there, because she wanted, more then anything else, to be there for
Prizzy. So we gathered hand in hand and began the walk. Then, somewhere
in the middle of this long line of hands, I heard a sweet pure voice
ring out in song. It was Ophelia and she was singing an old gospel song
called "Going Home".

Goin' home (goin' home, goin' home)
Goin' home (goin' home, goin' home)

Goin' home, goin' home, I'm a goin' home
Quiet like, still some day, I'm just goin' home
It's not far, just close by, through an open door
Work all done, care laid by
Going to fear no more
Mother's there, expecting me
Father's waiting too (father is waiting too)
Lots of folks gathered there (folks gathered there)
All the friends I knew
Goin' home (goin' home, goin' home, goin' home)
Goin' home

Morning star lights the way
Restless dream all done
Shadows gone, break of day
Real life just begun
There's no break, ain't no end
Just a living on (just a living on)
Wide awake with a smile, going on and on
Goin' home, goin' home, I'm a goin' home (goin' home)
It's not far, just close by, I'm a goin' home
Goin' home (goin' home, goin' home, goin' home)
Goin' home

Nothing's lost, all is gain, no longing for the day
No more stumbling on the way
No more fret nor pain
Goin' home, goin' home, I'm a goin' home
Quiet like, still some day, I'm a goin' home

I'm just goin' home
I'm a goin' home
Goin' home (goin' home, goin' home)
Goin' home (goin' home, goin' home)
Home

As the song neared its second part, we arrived at the Bridge and it
was all aglow in a beautiful, misty, golden light. I could hear a soft
laugher and the ticking of tiny toe nails, and then this sweet-faced
sable girl came across and she too was singing right along with the
rest of us. When the song ended, each and every fuzzit gathered around
her and warmly hugged and kissed her and told her she was now home now,
and, of course, among many loved ones. She just stood there and looked
at all of the wonderful, fuzzy faces and all she could do is cry with
tears of joy. "She was so afraid I would come here and there would be
no one here waiting for me, but she was wrong, look at all of you. I
know you without ever having seen your faces. I know you because I see
her love in each and every one of you and it is family I am among."

She then looked at me and asked me to please let you know that your
prayers had been answered and that she had not only been properly
greeted, but so filled with joy and love that she wanted me to send
some of that back down to you - and so I am. What a great and gentle
heart you have Sandi. It is one that is filled to the brim with love,
comfort, compassion, faith, joy and most of all hope. All of the
fuzzits that have come into to you life, be they there for years or
even a few moments are marked by the great love you have for all of
God's creatures and I - well I feel blessed to be here to greet those
that have been touched by you.

In Love & In Comfort,
Pie O' Pah
