Hi all!

I've been reading the list for awhile and finally have something strange to
ask you all about. I have recently learned to make sushi and have found
that my ferrets (but Neo in particular) are crazy for roasted seaweed
(Nori). Neo will try to climb my cupboard doors, my legs, and the fridge
to get as close to the seaweed as he can. If he smells seaweed on your
breath, he tries to jump in your mouth to find it!

My only question is, can any harm come from him eating seaweed? I know
it's a good source of iodine, but I'm unsure how much iodine a ferret
needs. I am hesitant to give him more than a few pieces of seaweed a day
for fear he might get sick or the seaweed might stick in his throat.
Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks,
Crystal
