I've been quite busy this week so haven't answered many Chicken Gravy
questions (and I have a box full).  I've had two sick ferrets (Crystal and
Apollo; both are doing much better), and my son Josh got married Friday
(Yep, on Friday, I could be seen wearing a dark suit, a tux, and later, a
sport coat.  Yeech.)  Normally, I'm quite allergic to weddings, but this
one was marginally ok....I didn't break out in hives or anything. ;-)  What
was (or is) nice is all the family that I haven't seen for a long time; my
mom and all my brothers are in Columbia for the weekend.  I'm adopted, so
don't look much like my brothers, but what they have in height and
handsomeness, I make up for in sheer ugliness and mouth.  They come from
CaCaLand, so the sight of 19 free ranging ferrets was, at first, a shock to
them.  My brother David calls them "Nightcrawlers with feet" and his wife
calls them "Bob's Pests." My nieces and nephews are all begging to take one
home, so I'm quite popular with the young crowd, but not so popular with
the parents.  The ferrets have never had so much fun.  Even Tui was too
tired to play last night.
 
I've been repeated requested to have some sort of ICQ chat about the
Chicken Gravy, where people can ask questions, get answers and share time
saving (or in my case, consuming...) hints and what have you.  I think
Monday or Tuesday would be good for me, starting at about 8pm Central
time so it is easy for the west coasters to join in.
 
My ICQ number is 14661516.  If you are not on my extensive contact list, I
will have to authorize you, but I will be happy to do so at your request.
I won't have time to do any ICQ until Sunday afternoon when my family
splits for CaCaLand, but I will turn it on then to authorize people, etc.
Email or ICQ me which of the two days would be better, and I'll allow the
majority vote to determine the time.  If anyone wants to run the chat
(since I'm on a Mac and the Mac ICQ program sucks; ICQ's fault, not Apple),
I'd be eternally grateful.
