Hi,

As an ingenue I'm interested in the frequency of intestinal parasitism.
Specifically Round, hooks, tapes and whips. I have 6 ferrets at the moment
and routinely dose them monthly for heartworm and fleas. These are
relatively common parasites in dogs and some of them in cats. I know
heartworm can affect ferrets but I thought they seldom suffered from
intestinal parasites. The transit time is so short that any parasites
would need to hang on hard! I am in Australia.

TIA

Barry MacDonald
