Absolutely not.

There was a post from a very dear friend of ours mary about the troubles of
her husband who is also a very dear friend of ours.

We will NOT let you detract from the friendships of our other ferret loving
friends merely because you think it should be a business relationship.

Having had delays on projects due to health issues from both of us we are
actually more sympathetic to the Sheffermans, not less.

Modern Ferret is a business but it is hardly profitable. Hopefully that
will change.

We are quite sure you are correct. We are also quite sure that sometimes
one should show more compassion even to the publishers of a magazine that
is later than they would like. Unless he note to you did a far better
job than her note just preceding yours in the FML, she did not do a good
job in justifying her nasty note. Its like pouring salt in a wound.

>and i have missed getting my magazine also... they are a small business...

We disagree. The Sheffermans have only a couple choices. Delay the
magazine due to Eric's illness. Or kill the magazine. They've made it
clear that they do not have the resources to hire even a temporary staff.

Since the next issue features a story by the two of us we are particularly
anxious to see it. But NOT at the risk of our dear friend's health and not
at the risk of destroying the magazine completely.

The personal lives of Mary and Eric are as much a part of the ferret world
as the heart warming tales of Wolfy and Rocky. As much as the querying of
FDRCI about the status of the shelters. As much as the condition of Bob's
broken heart (It's fixed by the way but still recovering)

And if you have met Mary and Eric, you'd swear they were half ferret
anyway...

We find one is sufficient most of the time. We use the largest size water
bottle usually though.
